Cycle Data Plus*
This application is a utility that enables a company to enter employee hours and deduction data into an Excel spreadsheet so that it can then be exported as a text file in a format ready to be imported into Ceridian's payroll system.
Procedure Manual Utility*
This application is a utility that my client's technicians use to enter maintenance activity. The workbook contains over 250 sheets (most of which are hidden and viewed through programming). Many of these sheets contain a unique set of items that need to be performed/maintained for the piece of equipment. The utility automates what used to be a very manual process.
Time Sheet*
The Time Sheet application is a basic time collection tool with some automation to reduce keying. In addition to time collection, I have included a sheet for recording expenses and per diem items. The company's annual pay schedule is in a table and automatically displays the appropriate pay period information when the form is cleared.
Bill Rate Modeler*
The bill rate modeler is a utility that determines bill rates based on resource selection and whether or not projected expenses should be included in the rate. Functions are included to easily adjust variables for modeling purposes.
Price Modeler*
The price modeler is a utility that determines the price based on user entered variables. This utility aids sales people in developing price proposals. The price rules and limits are setup within a table so that management can ensure the rules and limits are enforced.
File Converter*
This file converter utility converts a text file produced by the client's time and attendance system from one format to another so that it can be imported in to Ceridian's payroll system. The time file displays regular hours and overtime on the same line/row. Ceridian requires these two types of pay to be on their own line/row. Code was included to look for this and create two rows in the output file for every one row on the input file that matched this configuration.
Deduction Calculator*
This simple deduction calculator tool determines the deduction to be added to the client's payroll system based on the employee's benefit enrollment.
